He called Sachin Tendulkar's career as 'legendary run', MS Dhoni as 'calm and cool', and said that Rohit Sharma is 'everybody's man'. He also described Virat Kohli as 'fire'.

However, when he was asked about Jasprit Bumrah, he made a hilarious on-stage goof-up and mistook the pacer for a footballer. Ram Charan said he loves football and is Jasprit Bumrah's biggest fan. He also congratulated the pacer for promoting football. Bumrah is one of the most iconic cricketers in the world and a major goof-up like this wasn't going to go unnoticed.

The clip quickly went viral on social media and invited brutal trolling for the actor. Ram Charan recognised the error and took to social media to apologise to the India pacer.
