Detectives are trying to track down a man on a bicycle who has reportedly been snatching expensive jewellery from residents in Solihull . Police said the suspect, who has been seen wearing a ski mask and sunglasses, snatched a gold chain from a woman's neck before making off on his bike. It happened on Chelmsley Road at around 9am on Monday, April 20. Officers described him as being black and aged in his 20s. He was pictured wearing a padded jacket, a ski mask and sunglasses. A force spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify this person? "We want to speak with them after we received reports of a man riding a bike and speaking with members of the public before snatching jewellery.
"In one incident, on Chelmsley Road, at around 9am on April 20, a man matching the description as the one seen pictured reportedly snatched a gold chain from a woman's neck before riding away on a bike. "The man is described as being black, in his 20s, and was wearing a padded jacket along with a ski mask and sunglasses.
