AKEL and DISY have each won two of the six parliamentary seats allocated to the Larnaca district, with DIKO and ELAM claiming one each, according to results from the completed preference vote count. Andreas Pasiourtidis topped the Larnaca ballot for AKEL with 7,698 votes, followed by former Cyprus national team football striker Pannikos Xiourouppas on 5,090 votes. DISY leader Annita Demetriou and Prodromos Alambriti, who received 7,297 votes, won the party’s two seats. Andreas Apostolou secured DIKO’s seat with 3,679 votes, while Sotiris Ioannou won ELAM’s seat with 3,158 votes.
