Toronto Police say officers responded to the “personal injury collision” near Kingston Rd. and Lawrence Ave. E. around 10:20 p.m. It is reported that a 52-year-old male was operating a Nissan Rogue in a parking lot in the area,” police said in a statement released Saturday. “An unidentified male was walking through the parking lot at the same time.” “The pedestrian was struck by the Nissan,” police said, adding the Nissan driver remained at the scene. The pedestrian was rushed to hospital with “life-threatening injuries.” The investigation is ongoing.
