A man who died after a crash involving a lorry on the A14 has been named by police. Suffolk Police were called at 2.26am on Thursday, May 7, following reports of a crash involving a lorry and a pedestrian on the eastbound carriageway at Bury St Edmunds. The pedestrian, a man aged in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as David Green, previously known as David Biggs, aged 76, of Bacton.
