RCMP seek public’s help in disappearance of Trail man

The BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit is now leading the investigation into the disappearance of a Trail man whose whereabouts have been unknown for nearly a year. Police said Saturday they are urgently seeking the public’s help to determine the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 51-year-old Mark Konrad.
According to RCMP, Konrad’s last confirmed interaction was with police officers in late June 2025. Since that time, investigators have received no confirmed reports of sightings. RCMP said Konrad’s disappearance remains unexplained and investigators are working to determine what happened to him. Konrad is described as a Caucasian male, 51 years old, standing five feet nine inches (175 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds (100 kilograms).
He has brown hair that is thinning and brown eyes. The Southeast District Major Crime Unit is appealing to anyone who may have seen Konrad or who has information about his disappearance or current whereabouts to come forward.
