Soccer Aid fans gobsmacked by Tom Hanks' surprise cameo as apologises live on air

Soccer Aid fans have been left baffled by "Disney royalty" unexpectedly showing up ahead of tonight's charity match. Soccer Aid 2026 has begun with England once again facing World XI in the biggest charity football match of the year, filled to the brim with footballers and celebrities.

But before the game started, ITV viewers were taken aback when they saw internet personality GK Barry on screen with none other than actors Tom Hanks and Tim Allen behind the scenes. GK was ready to speak to the iconic Toy Story co-stars, telling fans that she was "going to pass out" from excitement but the pair continued to chat behind her. She paused to look at them before saying: "Excuse me, we're live on air" with Hanks and Allen quick to apologise. A few moments later and EastEnders legend Danny Dyer showed up behind them and rubbed both of the A-list stars' heads, saying: "A couple of boats here" with Hanks shouting after him: "Rub my head again!

Good luck!" Then as she was about to hand over back to Dermot O'Leary and Alex Scott, Allen can be heard mumbling in the background with GK adding: "And he [Allen] just called me a 'he'", before turning back back to laugh with the actor. ITV viewers couldn't believe this random moment playing out on their screens with one fan exclaiming on X: "Omgggg!!! Tom and Tim?!!!" and another calling them "amazing". "Love Tom Hanks & Tim Allen on Soccer Aid", someone else commented: with another writing: "Tom Hanks and Tim Allen just casually there." A fellow viewer posted: "Danny Dyer rubbing Tom Hanks head", followed by a series of star eyed emojis.

"GK Barry telling off Tom Hanks and Tim Allen for talking while she’s presenting and danny dyer crashing in and rubbing Hanks' head is frying me???" Others pointed out the fact that Allen referred to GK as a "he", as another said: "Wow that was awful fair play to GK for keeping that kind of together."
