Tessica Laurence re-set her Trinidad and Tobago Women’s and Girls’ Under-20 pole vault records for the second time in eight days when she went over the bar at 2.90 metres at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain, yesterday. The record clearance earned Laurence MAP Open Athletic Competition Women’s pole vault gold. Two Saturdays ago, the 19-year-old Concorde athlete won the National Masters Championship women’s open pole vault event with a then national record height of 2.70m.
