Developer Scopely has announced a big update for Monopoly GO! featuring The Simpsons, adding characters and visuals from the beloved cartoon series. The new update adds the all-new Simpsons board to the game, and developer Scopely hasn’t left a single part of the entire game untouched in what they’re calling the “deepest collaboration” in the game’s entire history. An animated short was also produced just for this collaboration with Gracie Films (the actual Simpsons production company) with Harry Shearer as Mr. Burns and Will Ferrell as Mr.
Monopoly. The short was written by The Simpsons writer and co-executive producer Lonnie Steele Sosthand and produced by The Simpsons creative team. Here’s some new screenshots of the new Simpsons update in action: Monopoly GO! has been available for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) since 2023.
