All roads lead back to Bravo. Back in Season 3 of Summer House, otherwise remembered as Paige DeSorbo‘s introduction to the reality TV network, Erika Kirk, the widowed wife of controversial right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, made an appearance as a friend of veteran cast member Carl Radke. Erika has since garnered tons of media attention, having taken over as CEO of Turning Point USA, the conservative organization founded by her late husband Charlie, who was publicly assassinated during one of the company’s rallies at a Utah college in September 2025. In her first public speech following Charlie’s death, Erika vowed to continue his mission as CEO of Turning Point USA. “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea,” she said, per NBC News. “You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world.
You have no idea. You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.” Before Erika found herself in the national spotlight, she was just a religious girl who appeared on a couple of episodes of Summer House — and after her husband’s death brought a renewed attention to her life, it wasn’t long until her connection to Bravo was resurfaced. Keep reading for everything we know about Erika Kirk’s time on Bravo: Was Erika Kirk on Summer House?
Yup! Erika Kirk first appeared in Season 3, Episode 11 of Summer House when her friend, OG cast member Carl Radke, attempted to set her up with Jordan Verroi, who starred in the show’s third and fourth seasons. “Jordan’s probably a virgin. So I’m setting him up with my friend, Erika. She’s beautiful, and she happens to be religious,” Radke said in his confessional at the time.
However, Erika and Verroi’s relationship didn’t go further than one (very awkward) date in Season 3, Episode 12. When Verroi asked Erika if she was his soulmate, she quickly responded, “No,” explaining that she only ever intended to be friends with him. Yikes! Since Season 3 was filmed in summer 2018, Erika’s date with Verroi did happen before she met her late husband.
Erika and Charlie began dating in 2019, before tying the knot in 2021. They had two children together before his death. Was Erika Kirk a cast member on Summer House?
While Erika Kirk did appear in two episodes of Summer House, she was never considered a full-time cast member. However, she did reveal in a 2019 Instagram post that Bravo did ask her to join Summer House in a full-time capacity. Following her graduation from Liberty University, Erika revealed that she had to make sacrifices to focus on her education, “like turning down being a cast member for @bravotv Summer House & other various TV show opportunities.” How to watch Summer House: Those looking to watch Summer House will need access to Bravo and/or Peacock.
