He then went on to touch the Indian legend's feet, who then proceeded to give him his blessings. Sooryavanshi also touched Sanjay Bangar's feet as well. In fact, Sooryavanshi also became the player with the most sixes in a single edition of any T20 tournament in history. Sooryavanshi was on 97 when he played an upper cut off a Praful Hinge delivery.

However, Smaran Ravichandran took a great catch at third man, and he could not clear the ball for a six. This would have meant that Sooryavanshi would have reached his century in 29 balls. This would have meant that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi would have become the fastest centurion in the history of the IPL, bettering Gayle's 30-ball ton against Pune Warriors India in IPL 2012.
