Watch: Violet Grohl makes TV debut with 'Tonight Show' performance

June 4 (UPI) -- Violet Grohl, the eldest daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, made her TV debut as a singer Wednesday. Violet, 20, appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her song "Bug in the Cake." The singer-songwriter took to the stage in a black dress and locket necklace while accompanied by a live band. "Bug in the Cake" appears on Violet's debut studio album, Be Sweet to Me. She released the album and the "Bug in the Cake" music video last week.

"this is a dream come true for me and I'm so so excited to finally be sharing this music with you. it's been a wild journey to get this album to where it is, I couldn't be happier with how this it turned out. i'm so so happy that its finally yours x," the singer wrote on Instagram at the time. Violet will promote her album with a tour that kicks off Aug. 19 in Berlin and concludes Nov. 17 in Denver.
