Rounding out this year’s summer 2026 PlayStation State of Play was the reveal of a new God of War game from Santa Monica Studios, God of War Laufey. We learned a lot about the game in a lengthy look, including that Kratos’ long-thought dead wife Faye is back in action, and we learned who’s playing her as well. Faye is played by Deborah Ann Woll Faye will be played in God of War Laufey by Deborah Ann Woll. Fans of Daredevil and The Punisher series need no introduction to her.
Deborah Ann Woll has played Karen Page in several Marvel series since Daredevil in 2015, and up to and including continuing to play her in the recent Daredevil: Born Again, which is still ongoing. Other major roles include Jessica Hamby throughout the entirety of True Blood (2008 to 2014) and Amanda Harper in the Escape Room movies. Deborah Ann Woll is providing both the voice and motion capture of Faye, otherwise known as Laufey in the God of War series. Up to this point, we’d thought Faye was dead, as God of War 2018 begins with her funeral.
